  • Indiana: Ambulance with Ill Patient Crashes with Police Car

    Police say two paramedics and two volunteer firefighters were hurt when an ambulance carrying a dying patient crashed into a sheriff's patrol car in central Indiana.

  • Massachusetts: Natick Ambulance Struck by a Car

    Natick police are searching for the operator of a truck involved in a hit-and-run accident with an ambulance Monday afternoon, police said. A Natick Fire Department ambulance was parked outside a residence on Rockland Street at about 2:30 p.m., responding to a call, when a red pickup truck hit the vehicle. The truck then sped off.

  • Ohio: Video Show Police Cruiser Struck on I-75

    A Dayton police officer was injured early Wednesday morning in a crash on Interstate 75 near Main Street. His cruiser was struck by a semi while the officer was stopped with his emergency lights on in a construction zone. Video from the cruiser cam of that officer's vehicle was released Thursday.

  • Vermont Police Urge the Public to Slow Down in Bad Weather

    A cruiser was hit by another vehicle on Interstate 89 in Sharon on Wednesday, February 19, sending a trooper to the hospital. State Police said Trooper Christopher Blais had stopped on the southbound interstate, with his emergency lights activated, to assist a motorist whose vehicle had spun out in the snow when the police cruiser was struck from behind by an SUV driven by Alden Hall, 44, of Lebanon. Blais was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with a potential back injury and later released, Keefe said.

  • Minnesota: Washington County Road Worker Hit by Car, Expected to be OK

    A Washington County public works employee hit by a passing car last week is expected to recover. The employee was part of a crew removing snow from a bridge over Browns Creek near County Road 5 and Minnesota 96, just north of Stillwater, on Thursday afternoon. He has no broken bones and does not appear to have a head injury.
