Towing & Recovery Near Miss
Founded by the Massachusetts Statewide Towing Association, Inc., the Towing Traffic Incident Reporting System (TTIRS) provides a way for any tow company representative, tow operator, or surviving family member to submit a report of a near miss or struck by incident involving a tow operator. Any incident can be reported, regardless of when it occurred. Reporting is confidential. In addition, TTIRS makes its data available to registered Towing & Recovery Association of America Affiliate Members who request a report. TTIRS is supported by the following Charter Members: the Towing & Recovery Association of Ohio, the New Hampshire Towing Association, and the Towing & Recovery Association of America.
ResponderSafety.com encourages all members of the towing and recovery community to report near miss and struck by incidents. Data is needed to understand the scope of the problem, craft solutions, and put those solutions into action.
