  • Nevada: Trooper Hisoitalized After Struck From Behind

    A Nevada Highway Patrol trooper and two people were hospitalized after a crash on U.S. Highway 95 Sunday afternoon.   • Ohio: Intoxicated Flushing Man Hits Officer

    A state trooper for the Ohio State Highway Patrol was struck by intoxicated driver who did not obey the trooper's order to stop. This happened around 6 p.m. Saturday night on High Street in Flushing, Ohio.

  • California: Fresno Bike Officer Hit by Car

    A Fresno Police officer is recovering after being hit by a car. Two uniformed bicycle officers responded to Fern and Wishon in the Tower District just after 9:30 p.m. on Friday. They said two men who were arguing got into a car with a female driver. The suspects all refused to comply with orders, and the woman drove away, hitting the officer and damaging his bike. Authorities say 44-year-old Enedia Romandia then led them on a pursuit that finally ended at Van Ness and McKinley. She was arrested on several charges, including drunk driving and felony assault. Officer Paul DeSousa was on the Saw Mill Parkway Friday morning when he saw a 15-year-old boy walking north on a shoulder adjacent to the southbound lanes of the parkway, according to Westchester police.
