North Carolina: Off Duty Officer Struck and Injured
Officer J.M. Heyer was injured in the collision just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Coliseum Drive and Reynolda Road. Heyer was treated at Forsyth Medical Center for injuries considered not life-threatening. Heyer was directing traffic off-duty for a signal repair contractor, Winston-Salem police said. Heyer was hit by a vehicle turning from Coliseum Drive to Reynolda Road, police said.

Colorado: Four Denver Officers Struck Duiring Protest
Four Denver bicycle unit police officers helping control traffic during a student walkout on Wednesday were hit by a vehicle and injured on Wednesday. One of the officers was undergoing surgery and was in critical condition.
