    A deputy that was hit Monday afternoon during a routine traffic stop is recovering at Creighton Medical Center. Deputy David Wintle is in good condition, with possible knee or hip injuries. Omaha police say 18-year old Lucas Greene was driving on the interstate when he veered off the road, and for unknown reasons went on the shoulder hitting Wintle's cruiser. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the accident was completely avoidable, if Greene would have put into practice Nebraska's "Move over" law.
