Maryland: Perryville Fire Official Struck by Car, Taken to Hospital
A fire police officer with the Perryville Fire Company was taken to a Delaware hospital late Friday afternoon after he was struck by a vehicle on Route 40. The officer, David Barr Sr., 64, was directing traffic at the scene of a three-vehicle collision on westbound Route 40 in the area of the Relax Inn when he was struck, according to the Perryville Police Department.

Michigan State Police Trooper Struck by Vehicle
A Michigan State Police trooper was injured when he was struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop in Niles Wednesday afternoon. Motor Carrier Sgt. Paul Leonard, of the Paw Paw Post, was treated and released at a hospital. [WNDU] Police are searching for a Benton Harbor man who shot and robbed another man. Demon Thompson, 31, has been charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.

Texas: Houston Houston Bike Patrol Officer Struck by Vehicle
A bike patrol officer with the Houston Police Department was sent to the hospital with minor injuries following an accident in Kingwood. According to HPD, a pickup truck turning into a gas station on Kingwood Drive near W. Lake Houston Parkway struck the officer, who was on a bicycle.

Tennessee: DeSoto County Sheriff's Deputy Hit by Car Identified
A DeSoto County sheriff's deputy, has been hit by a car at the intersection of Highway 302 and Hacks Cross Road. He was outside his car moving debris off the road when he was hit. The deputy's car was blocking the lane he was working in and his blue lights were on. A van hit his patrol car from behind and then the patrol car hit the deputy. New York: Metropolitan Transportation Authority Officer Struck by Car at Verrazano Bridge
An MTA Bridges and Tunnels officer was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Florida: Officer Hit by Car; Search Underway for Suspects
According to police, officers observed one of the suspects hand-rolling a marijuana cigar inside a car at The Barn, located at 1200 South French Avenue, two weeks ago. Officers said they also saw two guns inside the vehicle.
