Two Cape firefighters were injured during a training exercise at Sheep Pond in Brewster on Wednesday when they were struck by a vehicle. The Barnstable County Dive Team was training when a vehicle used by the team hit a 45-year old male from the Brewster Fire Department and a 45-year old man from the Dennis Fire Department. Oklahoma: Tulsa Fire Truck Hit During Expressway Traffic Accident
While on the scene of an accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway, a Tulsa fire truck was hit from behind by another vehicle. Officials say crews were working on a two-car collision in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Sheridan Road when a pickup drove through the hazard cones and crashed into the back of a Tulsa fire truck.

Maryland: Perryville Fire Police Officer Remains in Critical Condition
David Barr, Sr., the Perryville Fire Company fire police officer struck by a car on Route 40 Friday evening while directing traffic at an accident scene, remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday night at Christiana Hospital, according to family members. Barr was wearing his reflective vest when he was struck at the scene of a three-car accident on Route 40, but a preliminary police investigation determined sun glare may have been a factor in the collision.

Oklahoma: Trooper Struck From Behind by Suspected Drunk Driver
An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper sustained minor injuries early Sunday morning after being rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver according to spokesperson Betsy Randolph with the OHP. Trooper Mystal Perkins, 23, was on duty and in her patrol car at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday when it was struck from behind while she sat at a red signal light at SE 29th and Walker.
