  • Massachusetts: Move Over for Flashing Lights

    Stay alert for parked vehicles with flashing lights in Massachusetts while driving beginning this weekend. The new Move Over law takes effect Sunday, March 22, requiring all drivers approaching a stationary emergency or maintenance vehicle with flashing lights to move to the next adjacent lane if it is safe to do so, and barring that, to reduce their speed.

  • CT 'Move-Over' Law Moves Forward

    A proposed law that would mandate motorists move over when an emergency vehicle is parked on the side of a highway cleared the state legislature’s Transportation Committee today.
