A new "move-over" law for Minnesota boaters takes effect Wednesday. The new law requires boaters to stay clear of law enforcement watercraft that have their emergency lights flashing.

Virginia's Operation Air, Land, & Speed Returns
Motorists in Virginia saw an increase in Virginia State Police troopers along Interstates 295, 85, 77 and for the first time the Pocahontas 895 Toll Road. On Sunday, June 21 and Monday, June 22, state police saturated the entire length of the targeted highways during the two-day enforcement blitz. The traffic safety initiative was intended to remind people of the need to slow down, buckle up, and drive safely and responsibly on Virginia's interstates through high-visibility enforcement.

S.C. Troopers Remind Drivers of 'Move Over' Law
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is alerting all drivers that they will be enforcing a seven-year-old law called the Move Over Law, which requires all drivers to switch lanes, if possible, when a construction or emergency crew is on the side of the road.
