Pennsylvania: Alpha Fire Company Emergency Vehicle Struck
Earlier this afternoon one of our traffic units was struck while on scene of an accident on I99 in the area of MM 68.4. The fire police unit had its sign board in service and FPO Wirtz was starting to deploy cones when a sedan started to slide. The sedan struck our vehicle and came to rest blocking the travel lanes of the expressway. Luckily, FPO Wirtz was paying close attention to oncoming traffic and was able to move away from the advancing vehicle.

Nevada: Two in custody after police cruiser struck by hit-and-run driver
Two suspects were arrested after a Metro cruiser was struck by what police believe to be a stolen vehicle. Metro Sergeant Carlos Hank said that an officer was responding to an unrelated domestic dispute early Friday morning near Washington and Rainbow when a vehicle drove around the corner at high speed. The vehicle struck the front corner of the cruiser, then struck several other vehicles before coming to a stop.

A driver hit a Norwood police officer Friday while he was directing traffic near Rookwood Commons and Pavilion, according to Norwood Police Department.The crash occurred around 3:35 p.m. Friday near the shopping center’s Madison Road entrance, Norwood police said.

Illinois: Rockford Firefighters urge incident awareness
Harsh weather can cause accidents for drivers, but it's also a risky situation for emergency responders. Last night at midnight, Rockford Firefighters responded to an accident on South Alpine and Grinnell Drive. While firefighters were treating the injured, a car drove into the scene, past traffic cones, and hit a fire truck that was being used to protect the ambulance with the injured inside.

Massachusetts: Police cruiser struck by another car in Uxbridge
An Uxbridge Police cruiser was struck from behind by another car Saturday afternoon on Route 146 after police said the officer pulled over to help a State Police trooper on a motor vehicle stop. The officer headed to Rte. 146 around 11:35 a.m. to help the trooper, Uxbridge Police said. The officer pulled over and was sitting inside his cruiser when police said another vehicle crashed into the back of the cruiser. Police said the officer and the driver of the other car were taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The officer was later released. Both cruisers had their emergency lights on and flashing at the time of the accident, police said. Uxbridge Police reminded people to adhere to the "Move Over" law while driving. The accident remains under investigation by the State Police.
