    A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was injured during a chase Wednesday night in Washington County. According to State Police, it all started around 9 p.m. in North Franklin Township, when a trooper noticed a white Ford Fusion driving erratically on Franklin Farms Road.

    Two Regina men are facing charges after police say one of their cruisers was intentionally rammed by a pickup truck during a vehicle stop. Just after midnight Sunday, police attempted to stop a pickup truck after receiving information that the occupants had intimidated a pedestrian during a verbal altercation.

  • Pennsylvania: Police: Man Steals Truck, Crashes into State Trooper on Parkway West

    Police say a 25-year-old Greensburg man was driving a stolen truck on Interstate 376 refused to pull over."Once we got to that vehicle, we advised the individual to pull over, he refused to, striking a police vehicle," said Trooper Robin Mungo, Pennsylvania State Police public information officer for the Pittsburgh barracks.

  • Texas: Three Injured in Ten-Car Pileup

    That is when police said a maroon colored car with two occupants came up the ramp, apparently did not see the man pushing his car and slammed into the back end, hitting the man. The driver pushing his car was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, and the driver of the maroon car was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The Spring Fire Department responded to reports of the second accident and parked on the shoulder of the freeway with emergency lights on. Around 12:30 a.m., police said a drunk driver in a small pickup truck came speeding down the freeway and hit the back end of the Dodge Charger belonging to the Spring fire chief, and then hit the ambulance.   • Connecticut Trooper Struck on I-91 Near Hartford

  • Ipwa: Officer Hit by Car While Ddirecting Traffic

    A police officer was struck by a car Saturday evening while conducting traffic. Officials said the officer was near the Iowa State Fairgrounds at the intersection of Grand Avenue and 30th Street when 32-year-old Jose Chavez-Sagastizado, of Des Moines, hit the officer while turning south on 30th Street.

  • Maryland: Frederick Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting

    Authorities with the Frederick Police Department said police saw a suspicious situation in the 1200 block of West Patrick Street about 11:20 p.m. Investigators said while police were investigating, a car struck an officer, who fired his weapon at the motorist.Police pursued the driver, who fled from the scene and was later taken into custody without incident. The officer and the motorist were taken to area hospitals for treatment

  • Texas: Killeen Officer Hit by Fleeing Vehicle but Manages to Shoot Driver, Suspect Ffacing Charges

    A Central Texas police officer was hit by a fleeing vehicle but managed to shoot the driver who was later caught. Killeen police say the suspect was hospitalized in stable condition following Saturday morning's incident. Police spokeswoman Tina Amerson says the officer was treated and released from a hospital. His name wasn't immediately released.
