  • Women Arrested in Hit and Run of South Carolina Officer

    A police chase that began in Mount Pleasant today ended in North Charleston, where the suspect vehicle crashed near East Montague and Rivers avenues. Three women were arrested. Three shoplifting suspects hit a Mount Pleasant police officer who tried to stop them and led officers on a 20-mile chase before crashing into a garage in North Charleston today, police said.

  • Houston Officer Struck by Car at Fatal Incident

    A man died after a car struck him while he was crossing the road in west Houston overnight, police said. A Houston Police Department officer helping with traffic control for that accident was sent to the hospital after another driver crashed into his vehicle. A black Ford Taurus struck the right passenger side of the HPD patrol car that HPD Officer A. Vo's patrol was sitting in at the time.

  • New York Firefighter Hit By Car, Hospitalized

    A volunteer firefighter was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car while responding to a fire alarm Saturday night. The incident happened on Harlem Road in West Seneca, when a member of the Winchester Volunteer Fire Department was helping guide a fire truck back out of a driveway after responding to a fire alarm, when an oncoming car struck the man.

  • Tennessee Trooper's Cruiser Struck by Sliding Vehicle

    A man was arrested Friday morning after his car struck a trooper's cruiser during a snowstorm. Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Shelton was attending to several weather-related accidents on Interstate 40 in Jefferson County on the overpass above Highway 92 around 1:46 a.m.

    The Kentucky State Police investigated an injury collision involving a Greenville Police Officer that occurred on KY 189, in the limits of Greenville, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at approximately 12:01 p.m.

    A Toronto police officer is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car overnight in the downtown area (at Bathurst and Front). Const. Clint Stibbe told CP24 the injured officer was hit at about 2:20 a.m. after he left his vehicle to close an intersection for a film shoot .     A worker picking up trash in a high-speed berm of I-75 was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning. The accident happened near the 1 mile marker on I-75 near downtown Cincinnati.
