  • Hawaii: Honolulu PD Officer Hospitalized After Struck by Vehicle

    A Honolulu police officer is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning. EMS officials say the 29-year-old male was hit on the H-1 freeway, eastbound direction near the Fort Weaver onramp around 7:30 a.m. According to the HPD traffic division, the officer was assisting a car that spun out and hit the guardrail.
