Connecticut Officer Hit By Car Before Chase
A police officer arrested a pair of suspected heroin users on Thursday afternoon after they hit him with their vehicle and led him on a backwards car chase on Route 5/15, police said. The officer was hit by the suspect's open car door and suffered minor injuries, police said.

Wyoming Trooper Injured in Roadside Stop
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says one of its vehicles was hit roadside Wednesday morning while a trooper was investigating a traffic incident. Sgt. Stephen Townsend said the trooper’s Dodge Charger was hit on its passenger side by a Ford F-250 pickup spinning out of control.
