2 Injured After Car Hits Texas DOT Work Truck
Donald Vaughan with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) crew that was on the highway working during the time of the accident said the incident “happened so fast.” “These guys were putting new reflectors on the highway. It was a mobile operation,” explained Vaughan. As the woman drove down the highway, Vaughn said she struck the flashing cushion sign that read “roadwork convoy” on the back of the mobile work truck.

A car swerved and struck a patrol car and the two officers. The driver accidentally spilled hot coffee on himself, causing him to panic and step on the accelerator.
