"Very scary day" that's how one firefighter describes a close call on Chippenham Parkway this morning. Chesterfield firefighters had pulled their fire engine into the right lane and had gotten out to see if a car on the shoulder was on fire. While they were checking under the hood for flames a thunderous crash was heard and smoke billowed from behind their fire truck.
