(TX)(08-30-2021) Tow Operator struck & killed while working on Dallas High 5
DALLAS – A woman slammed her Chevy Tahoe into a tow operator who was hooking up a car to his tow truck on LBJ Express near Highway 75, knocking him off the overpass and onto the freeway below. He fell about 50 feet to the road below where he was hit by several cars. Police said the tow truck’s flashing lights were on at the time.
It happened at 9:44 p.m. on August 30. The tow operator died. The woman, Denise Chantel Alford, 35, was arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
The victim’s remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for positive identification.
