Wisconsin: Family continues to raise awareness of Move Over Law 1 year after tow truck driver's death
Tuesday marked the first anniversary of an accident that killed tow truck driver.
Nate Walsh responded to his last call to a tow a broken down car along I-95 on Oct. 20, 2014. That is when law enforcement officers said a pickup truck sideswiped the tow truck, killing Nate.

Nate's family started a petition shortly after the accident to increase awareness and enforcement for the Wisconsin Move Over Law, and add more signs on Wisconsin roadways, reminding everyone of the law.
His wife, Katie Walsh, created a PSA with the Wisconsin DOT a a reminder of rules on the road.
"Nobody should ever have to lose somebody like that, because it is just senseless, Katie said. "Whether it is the tow truck drivers, or the police officers, or the EMS, or the fire department, or the road crew, whoever is out there, they all have a family that they deserve to go home to every day."
Nate's family said they were proud of their efforts to increase awareness.
The Wisconsin Senate passed a joint resolution proclaiming the second week in September as Towing Industry Awareness Week, and the Wisconsin DOT plans to promote the move over law in the near future by installing 30 more signs across the sate.
The pickup driver, Steven Dolan, was charged in Jackson County Court with a felony count of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle. His trial begins Nov. 18 in Jackson County.
