Canada: Police Concerned About Number of People Disobeying 'Move Over' Law

The authorities are still concerned about the number of people disobeying the province's new "Move Over" law. The legislation, which came into effect last year, is designed to protect first responders to situations on our highways. Drivers are required to slow down as they approach situations where police, paramedics and firefighters are present, and provide enough space for the emergency personnel to do their job safely.
