Mississippi: DeSoto Supervisors Air Road Safety Concerns for Officers

Deputy Ron Hendrix exits the sheriff’s office in Hernando and displays his traffic safety vest before heading out on patrol. On Monday morning, the DeSoto Board of Supervisors heard reports concerning the safety of first responders. Officers are to wear the highly visible, reflective vests when dealing with traffic for an extended period of time.
