'Massachusetts Move Over’ Law May Not be Fully Understood

The “Slow Down and Move Over” law, a state law enacted on March 22, 2009 by Massachusetts State Police, Massachusetts Highway Department and AAA of Southern New England, is in response to the number of injuries and fatalities of rescue personnel on the highways over the past two years.
