Massachusetts: Move Over for Flashing Lights

Stay alert for parked vehicles with flashing lights in Massachusetts while driving beginning this weekend.

The new Move Over law takes effect Sunday, March 22, requiring all drivers approaching a stationary emergency or maintenance vehicle with flashing lights to move to the next adjacent lane if it is safe to do so, and barring that, to reduce their speed.
