Few Drivers Know About PA 'Move-Over' Law
On Wednesday morning, just one day after a vehicle struck and killed Officer David Tome less than 20 miles away, a police car with its emergency lights flashing sat on the shoulder of Route 15 in Straban Township, Adams County. Under state law, most of the approaching vehicles should have moved into the left lane before passing it. But in just two hours, 113 drivers failed to do so.
