VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS MICHIGAN MOVEOVER LAW

Michigan State Police Trooper Mike Brown, has suggested that we all check out a video on the Web site of Flint TV station WNEM ( www.wnem.com). "On the front page and under the heading 'video headlines,' there is a video called 'What were they thinking? Lane Law' that discusses Michigan's 'Move Over, Slow Down' law for emergency vehicles. Trooper Brown who is assigned to the Richmond Post speaks to the value of the video. He noted that too many motorists are failing to abide by this law, and far too many troopers have paid the price. Hopefully continuing to educate the public about this vital law will encourage people to simply move over as opposed to passing a patrol car on the freeway at 70 mph with 6 inches to spare.
