NORTH CAROLINA MOVE OVER LAW AMENDED

According to WECT 6 Television in Wilmington, North Carolina, that state's "move over" law is being amended. Violations of that state's law could now cost you big bucks. If driver's don't slow down or move over for emergency vehicles on the side of the road, they could face a fine and a misdemeanor charge. Now tow truck drivers and D.O.T. vehicles are also protected under the law. The changes will take effect Saturday July 1.
