FINES, JAIL TIME TO BE ADDED TO TENNESSEE 'MOVE OVER' LAW
Tennesse lawmakers recently proposed adding heavy fines and possible jail time to the state's so-called "move over" law. With the governor’s signature later in the month, the proposal becomes law. Sen. Doug Jackson's efforts to toughen the state's "move over" law have met with success. The fine for drivers who fail to move a lane away from an emergency vehicle jumps from $50 to $500. Plus, they could face up to 30 days in jail. For more information please follow the link.
