Leadership
A safety-minded culture requires leadership that understands the many aspects of traffic incident management and roadway response safety, prioritizes safety at every response, writes and implements SOPs/SOGs for safety practices, role models and reinforces those safety practices, and ensures that the training and equipment to execute those safety practices is provided to all personnel. These resources offer a starting point to help department, agency, and organization leadership achieve these goals.
