Colorado: Speeding driver crashes into fire truck
After one fatal accident and one near-miss, let this week serve as a reminder to slow down and use caution around emergency vehicles. On Saturday morning, just six days after Colorado State Patrol Trooper Jaimie Jursevics was killed by a drunk driver, a speeding driver hit a fire truck on Highway 85 at County Road 26, narrowly avoiding firefighters, who were tending to another car accident.

Illinois: ANOTHER APPARATUS STRUCK - THIS TIME IN IL
On Saturday November 21, 2015 the Peotone, Illinois Fire Protection District responded to several accidents on I-57. While operating at 4 separate accidents, Squad 14 a 2009 Sutphen Rescue Pumper was struck by 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. The officer still in the cab of the vehicle was not injured, all other crew members took cover. The driver if the Chevrolet was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. All highway safety precautions were taken. Apparatus has been was taken out of service.

The members of the Clinton Township in Michigan were not operating in the roadway and were in a house providing service when their vehicle was struck

A flagger in a construction zone was seriously injured after being hit by two vehicles Thursday night on Highway 99W south of Amity, according to Lt. Bill Fugate of Oregon State Police.

Louisiana: Sunshine woman allegedly attempted to run over Evangeline Parish deputies
A 20-year-old woman is facing several charges including Attempted First-Degree Murder of a Police Officer after allegedly trying to run over deputies with her car, according to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office.
