Florida: Deputy struck by car in Pompano Beach
A Broward Sheriff's Office Deputy was struck by a car in Pompano Beach, Wednesday morning.7Skyforce flew over the scene along 700 Hammondville Rd. The crash happened sometime before 9:30 a.m. Officials have not yet released the name of the deputy, but he is said to have suffered minor injuries. It is unknown whether the driver fled or remained on the scene.

Virginia: Henrico fire truck struck on icy interstate overpass
A Henrico fire truck got stuck on an icy overpass while responding a crash in eastern Henrico, according to police at the scene. The struck fire truck blocked lanes on Interstate 295, near Interstate 64, in the East End. While a Henrico Fire official said the department was still investigating exactly what happened, he added the truck was now off the bridge and no one was hurt. VDOT crews have since applied anti-icing materials on the overpass.

A Big Lake Police officer is recovering after his cruiser was struck by an out-of-control motorist Sunday.

Missouri: Rock Hill officer struck by vehicle; two suspects arrested after crash
Officer Steven Sperber responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 800 block of Tavalon in Rock Hill. While getting out of his vehicle, Sperber was struck by an oncoming vehicle, which fled the scene and crashed on Manchester Road, about a mile west of the Tavalon and Manchester intersection.
