Georgia: Cobb Officer Struck By Car; Search Underway for Suspects
Police are continuing their search for the suspects who struck a Cobb police officer with their car on Tuesday night. No details yet on the officer's injuries, or how many suspects may be involved. A Cobb police spokesperson says the suspects have not yet been apprehended.

Pennsylvania: Royersford police officer struck by vehicle
A borough police officer directing traffic at an accident scene early Monday was struck by a vehicle. Information posted on the Royersford Police Department Facebook page states the officer was struck at Main Street and Tenth Avenue at 5:47 a.m. He was not seriously injured and is recovering at home, police said. At the time of the accident, there was steady rain falling, which hampered visibility. “Please use extreme caution when approaching ANY emergency vehicle with lights activated or an emergency scene,” police said. “Slow down and save a life.”

Mississippi: Yazoo City police officer injured when struck by suspect's vehicle
A Yazoo City police officer was taken to the hospital Thursday evening after being struck by a suspect's vehicle. The incident started at 14th and Calhoun streets when police tried to stop Cruzette Loften for a traffic violation on a dead-end street.

Washington, DC: MPD officer struck by vehicle in D.C.
A Metropolitan Police Officer was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening at Southern Ave. and Mississippi Ave., Southeast. MPD's PIO says they are not yet sure what the officer was doing at the time he was hit. We have been told that the striking vehicle stayed on the scene. The officer's injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
