Michigan Police Officer Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver
Authorities say a hit-and-run driver has injured a Greenville police officer. The Grand Rapids Press reports 26-year-old Officer Sean Parsons briefly lost consciousness after his cruiser was hit early Sunday. The Montcalm County sheriff's department says Parsons was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

South Carolina Firefighters Scatter As Truck Slams Into Fire Truck
An Anderson fire truck was damaged early Saturday when a man suspected of driving under the influence crashed into it. Anderson Fire Chief Billy Gibson said the truck was hit early Saturday morning while firefighters were manning a road block along Highway 29 and Highway 8 so troopers could investigate a fatal accident involving a fatal wreck involving a car and a gas tanker.

Alaska Police Search for Man Who Fled Traffic Stop, Abandoned Vehicle
Anchorage police are continuing to search for a suspect who they say tried to run over an officer after a pursuit early this morning. The officer shot at the man's vehicle but police don't believe the suspect was hit, spokeswoman Marlene Lammers said.
