  • Kenyucky Deputy Hurt after Being Hit by Car

    Kentucky State Police say a woman seriously injured a Greenup County Sheriff's deputy when she hit him with a car. It happened just after 8 p.m. Thursday on State Route 207. A woman was driving south on SR 207 when she hit both the sheriff's deputy and a tow-truck driver, who were responding to a separate vehicle crash.

    A West Seneca resource officer was hit by a vehicle on Friday morning, near West Seneca West High School on Seneca Street.

  • South Dakota Trooper's Condition Critical After Being Struck by Chase Suspect

    The 25-year-old woman who was shot by law enforcement after a high-speed chase through western Sioux Falls early Wednesday first rammed into trooper Andrew Steen’s vehicle, then returned to strike him after he had stepped out onto the pavement. Steen, a 34-year-old with eight years service in the Highway Patrol, was in stable but critical condition after the collision.   • Suspect Charged With DWI and Striking New Jersey Police Officer

    A Bergen County police officer on a traffic stop on Route 4 East near Forest Avenue was struck by a suspected drunken driver early Thursday morning as he was stepping out of his patrol car around 1:30 a.m.

  • Kentucky Police Officer Hit by Car at Accident Scene

    The Kentucky State Police is investigating a collision where a vehicle struck a police officer. The collision occurred near the six mile-marker on US 68 East in the limits of Elkton, KY on Thursday, at 7:15 a.m.

  • California Pedestrian Aiding Freeway Victims is Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver

    A pedestrian who ran onto state Route 78 late Monday night to help motorists involved in a multivehicle pileup was struck by a hit-and-run driver and seriously injured, the California Highway Patrol said.

  • Ohio Fire Truck is Struck

    A Miami Township fire engine responding to a crash on I-275 was damaged Oct. 12 when it was struck by a car. Fire Chief Jim Whitworth said in a press release firefighters were sent to the scene of a crash about about 9:40 p.m. on I-275 near the Wards Corner Road exit.

  • Police Car Hit by Another Vehicle in Minor Accident in Fayetteville. NC

    A Fayetteville police car was struck by another vehicle Friday afternoon after an officer responded to a disturbance on the 5000 block of Sumac Circle.

  • Ohio Fire Truck Hit by Car on I-275

    About 10:30 p.m. Friday night, a fire truck was hit on I-275 in the Loveland area. The Miami Township crew was stopped while assisting with another accident. That's when a car hit the truck from behind on the left side.   • Tacoma, WA Officer Dragged by Car, Shoots at Suspect

    Tacoma Police continue to search Tuesday for a suspect who dragged an officer with his car as he fled a traffic stop. The officer freed himself and fired several shots at the car.
