The man accused of causing a crash that injured a Columbus police officer on Thursday was arraigned and posted bond on Friday. According to records from the Franklin County Municipal Court, Jarrett Lumpkin was arraigned for two felony counts of aggravated vehicular assault Friday morning. He was given a $25,085 bond.

A New Hampshire state trooper suffered minor injuries late this morning when his cruiser was struck while he was parked at an accident scene. Sgt. Michael McQuade was sitting in his cruiser along Interstate 95 north when a tractor-trailer and a car collided nearby, State Police Lt. Chris Vetter said.
