Washington:Thurston County Deputy Hit by Fleeing Truck
The driver of a truck knocked a Thurston County deputy to the ground when he decided to flee during a traffic stop. The Sheriff’s Office said that about 1 a.m. Thursday, a deputy stopped a flatbed truck in the 160 block of Nisqually Cutoff Road Southeast, believing the driver may be a wanted person. Iowa: Floyd Fire Truck, New Station Damaged When Struck by Truck
A Floyd fire truck as well as the new fire station were damaged recently when a former member of the fire department drove the truck into the building. It is believed the driver, James Middour, 34, was intoxicated on the night of the incident, which took place at 4:22 a.m. on Aug. 24, according a press release from William Baresel, acting Floyd County Attorney.

Kentucky: Driver Accused of Hitting Trooper Facing Drug Charges
The driver accused of hitting a Kentucky State Police Trooper who was conducting a traffic stop in Bullitt County is now facing drug related charges. Charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, for methamphetamine, were filed against Louis Dunn, 43, of Booneville, Kentucky on Wednesday, Sept. 3, according to Bullitt County District Court records.

Georgia: GBI Actively Searching For Two Men Suspected Of Trying To Run Over Georgia State Trooper
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is searching for two men suspected of trying to run over a Georgia State Trooper with a stolen car. The GBI says it all started when a Georgia State Trooper was attempting to stop a vehicle for speeding around 3:30 Monday morning. They say the silver Nissan led the trooper on a chase down Highway 41 and in to the Hudson Dockett area in Valdosta.

Kentucky: Trooper In Stable Condition After Being Hit By Hart County Driver
On Interstate 65, police said a state trooper has been hit by a car driven in Bullitt County. KSP in Louisville said Trooper Sam Shacklette was in a work zone on the interstate before being hit by a passing car driven by Louis Edward Dunn of Bonnieville. Shacklette was thrown approximately 50 feet and landed in the shoulder of the roadway. Virginia: State Trooper struck by car in Virginia Beach
At around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Virginia State Police Trooper J.A. Vance was sitting stationary on his VSP motorcycle on the shoulder of I264 near Independence Blvd. when he was struck by a car. The trooper was monitoring traffic when the Eastbound lane began to slow because of congestion.

Colorado: Englewood Police Officer Hit by Suspected Drunk Driver
An Englewood Police officer was hit by a suspected drunk driver late Thursday night. Englewood Police said the officer had pulled over a driver on Hampden Avenue, near University Blvd., just before midnight. The officer had walked back to her patrol car and was sitting inside, processing information, when her car was rear-ended by another vehicle. Cherry Hills Police arrested the suspected drunk driver. Indiana: Trooper Injured in I-69 Struck-By Incident
State Police Master Trooper Trent Kiefer was in his police car in the southbound lanes of the freeway with his lights on to let drivers know about upcoming traffic congestion, according to the state police. As he sat stopped, the southbound box truck driven by Derek Lightle of Sheridan sideswiped Kiefer’s car, hit a Cadillac driven by Tammie Bell of Fort Wayne and sent it into the median, before the box truck hit a semi, police said
