Connecticut: Bridgeport police officer struck by vehicle, released from hospital
city police officer who was struck by a vehicle Wednesday while investigating shots fired has been released from the hospital, according to officials. The officer - who was not identified - had non life-threatening injuries.
At 8:53 a.m., officers came over the radio to report gunfire in the area of Kossuth and Shelton streets, said Scott Appleby, the city’s director of emergency communications and emergency management.
