Ohio: Cleveland police officer struck by car outside of FirstEnergy Stadium
A Cleveland Police sergeant helping to direct traffic for the Cleveland Browns preseason game outside FirstEnergy Stadium has been hospitalized after being hit by a car.
According to Cleveland Police, the officer was struck at the corner of East 9th Street and Erieside Avenue around 6:30 p.m.
The officer sustained a leg injury and has been taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
