Kentucky: Two injured as car hits Northern Kentucky road crew
Two people were injured as a vehicle struck a Northern Kentucky road crew, officials said. It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday in the northbound lanes of I-71/75, between US-42 and Kentucky Route 18.
The highway was briefly closed, but has since been reopened.Tim Little says he knows both of the victims, describing them as a father and son from Dearborn County.
"When I talked to the son, he said that they rolled the truck about three times and slid like 300 feet. Right now, they're both alive but on the way to UC," Little said. Officials said their injuries appear to be non life-threatening.
