Texas: Suspect Steals WFPD Police Car, Runs Over Officer's Arm, Drives on Base
Suspect is in custody. He is described as being a white male in his 40's. The police officer who was struck by the stolen vehicle is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver made it all the way onto the runway at Sheppard Air Force Base. The incident began at 506 Broad Street. The suspect reportedly ran one vehicle off the road. The injured officer has been transported to United Regional Hospital.
Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department chased a suspect who stole a police car, ran over a police officer's arm and led other officers on a high speed chase that according to scanner traffic, ended up on Sheppard Air Force Base.
