Pennsylvania: Volunteer fire police officer struck and injured in York County
A volunteer fire police officer is struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at a two vehicle crash in southern York County. The crash happened just after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Delta Road and Gum Tree Road in Chanceford Township.At about 6:20 p.m. while directing traffic at the intersection of New Bridgeville Road and Delta Road the officer was struck. He reportedly suffered serious injury and was rushed to the hospital.Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
