New Jersey: CAMDEN CO. POLICE OFFICER STRUCK BY CAR
A Camden County metro police officer is recovering after he was hit by a car early Monday. It happened at North 5th and Vine streets in Camden around 1 a.m.
The officer was working on another call at the time, though it was not known what the call was for. The driver of the car stopped and the vehicle was towed away.
The officer was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
There was no immediate word on if the driver will face charges.
