Vehicle strikes DOT worker in North Iowa

A worker with the Iowa Department of Transportation has been struck by a vehicle in Cerro Gordo County. DOT crews are on the scene Thursday because Highway 65 has flooded south of Rockwell. The unidentified worker was hit and transported by ambulance for treatment. The driver has been cited. No other information has been released.

Highway 65 near Rockwell is going to be closed due to flooding. It will remain open until an alternate route can be devised.
