North Carolina: Raleigh fire truck clipped at I-40 accident scene
A Raleigh Fire Department engine was struck by a vehicle while firefighters were at the scene of a wreck on westbound Interstate 40 near the Rock Quarry Road interchange Friday morning, police and firefighters reported.
The accident happened about 7:15 a.m. There were no reports of injuries.
Police reportedly were looking for a tractor-trailer that did not stop after the crash.
No details were available about the initial wreck.
