Missouri: Police officer struck by vehicle
A St. Louis County police officer was injured Saturday afternoon when he was hit by a car while directing traffic in front of a church. It happened at 4 P.M. at 17795 Wild Horse Creek Road in Chesterfield.
Police say the officer was standing in the middle of the road directing traffic out of the church, when he was hit. The driver of the car was a 17-year-old male. The officer suffered abrasions from the accident and was taken to a local hospital.
