Florida: Deputy intentionally struck by teen driver speaks out

The Orange County deputy run over while trying to take a juvenile into custody is speaking out about what happened. The deputy, Sgt. Marcy Pearce, of the Orange County Sheriff's Office, is now home from the hospital, recovering after being hit by a car.

Her colleagues and law enforcement officers across Central Florida are on high alert, trying to find the 15-year-old suspect, JanCarlos Ortiz, who's accused of hitting the deputy with his car.

Pearce said she suffered a fractured foot, has stitches in her head and plenty of bruises. She went on to thank those who are supporting her.
