California: Sacramento Police Car Hits Officer, Suspect In Alley
A suspect and an officer were struck by a responding police officer’s car at the end of a pursuit, Sacramento Police said on Tuesday. Police responded to a report of a domestic violence c all in the area of Alder Street and Harris Avenue on Tuesday morning when the suspect took off.
The fleeing suspect jumped fences and ended up in an alley where an officer caught up to him. The officer and suspect ended up in a struggle with each other.
A spokesman says when more officers arrived in the alley, they couldn’t stop their car in time and struck both the suspect and officer. Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
