New Hampshire: Trooper cruiser struck by tractor trailer in hit-and-run on snowy night in Warner
State Police say a cruiser was struck on Interstate 89 in Warner on Tuesday night, and the driver allegedly fled the scene after the accident.
State police said in a press release the incident happened about 6 p.m. Tuesday after the cruiser stopped to help a driver who had gone off the road. The trooper had his emergency lights on and was inside the cruiser when a tractor-trailer struck from behind.
According to the release, the tractor-trailer, which was traveling too fast for the conditions, pulled over to the side of the road before fleeing the scene.
