New York: Oswego County man nearly struck officer, struck Sheriff's vehicle during chase
An Oswego County man is facing a host of charges after he allegedly nearly struck a Pulaski Police Officer and hit a Sheriff’s vehicle during a chase on Sunday.
According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Joshua Kranz of Altmar was driving drunk when he nearly struck the officer in the town of Richland on Route 11.
The chase ended on State Route 69 in the Oneida County town of Camden.
The Sheriff’s Office charged Kranz with:
DWI
Aggravated DWI
Third-degree fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle
First-degree aggravated unlicensed operation
Drinking Alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway
Failure to obey a police officer; Reckless Driving
A host of traffic violations
He was arraigned in Town of Richland Court and taken to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
