Florida: Delray Beach man dies after striking Road Ranger tow truck

A Delray Beach man died Saturday morning after he ran a red light and struck the rear of a Road Ranger tow truck west of Interstate 95, police said. Joshua Ian Sugarman, 33, died at the scene. He was driving a silver 2003 Mercury sedan southbound on Congress Avenue and struck the truck as it turned southbound from Woolbright Road, Boynton Beach police said in a news release.

The tow truck driver was not injured, police said.

Police are continuing their investigation.
