Colorado: Police patrol car struck during pursuit of stolen vehicle, suspect sought
A police squad car was rammed while trying to stop a stolen vehicle on Wednesday evening, according to Denver Police. Police say a patrol car was struck while trying to stop a stolen vehicle at 20th Street and I-25. No one was injured.
That stolen vehicle was then abandoned near 36th Avenue and Mariposa Street, where Denver Police were conducting a perimeter search around 5:28 p.m. for the vehicle theft suspect.
The perimeter was lifted just before 6 p.m. and the stolen vehicle recovered.
The suspect was not located. Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
