Pennsylvania: • Police searching for 3 people after officer is hurt

Authorities said it happened on the 100 block of Hanover Street at Water Street in Glen Rock. The officer was investigating a complaint about suspicious activity.

Police said a dark-colored Toyota with Maryland license plate 4AG-6940 was sitting in the parking lot of a convenience story for some time. By the time the officer arrived, police say the car moved and drove down Water Street.

Police said when the officer caught up to the vehicle and approached it he noticed a woman slumped over in the back seat. That's when the man in the front seat grabbed the officer's arm and tried to pull him toward the vehicle.

According to police, the driver of the Toyota drove away, dragging the officer nearly 50 yards.

The officer is being treated in the hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
